Technical Capabilities Four Delivery Pillars

Delivery
Capabilities.

One registered entity owns civil, electrical, GIS/surveying, and logistics. No hand-offs between separate subcontractors. Industry research informs how we plan, price, and de-risk projects across Zambia.

Pillar 01 • Regulated Construction

Civil Works

NCC Grade 6 EngRB C3 Supervised

Structural foundations, access roads, industrial warehouses, concrete aprons, and site drainage.

We execute civil and building works under supervised professional engineering (EngRB Class C3) and NCC Grade 6 compliance. Our civil scopes are engineered for industrial durability and heavy operational loads.

By maintaining in-house setting-out survey control and integrated logistics for material batching, we ensure concrete compressive tolerances and structural grades match specification from the initial foundation pour to final handover.

Core Scope Capabilities:

  • Heavy reinforced structural foundations & slabs
  • Arterial access roads, site paving & heavy concrete aprons
  • Industrial warehousing sheds & structural steel frames
  • Culverts, stormwater channels & earthwork drainage systems

Pillar 02 • Direct License Holder

Electrical & Telecom

NCC Category E Substations & Reticulation

Transformers, reticulation, general electrical and telecom installations.

Electrical packages frequently create hand-off bottlenecks when outsourced to separate firms. Mate-World holds the NCC Category E license directly for electrical and telecommunication works.

Our in-house electrical crews coordinate directly with our civil teams, ensuring ducting, high-mast cabling, switchgear rooms, and transformer tie-ins proceed without schedule clashes or disputed hand-offs.

Core Scope Capabilities:

  • Industrial transformer installation, supply & tie-ins
  • High-voltage & low-voltage power reticulation
  • Industrial telecommunication cabling & ducting runs
  • High-mast site lighting & perimeter security power

Pillar 03 • Geospatial Control

GIS & Surveying

In-House Survey Desk Planning Support

Topographical surveys, setting-out verification, site layout control, as-built documentation.

Accurate spatial control is the bedrock of de-risked civil execution. We deploy in-house surveying teams from preliminary ground reconnaissance through to final as-built verification.

Survey data feeds directly into engineering cut-and-fill estimates, drainage grades, and structural alignment, eliminating the miscommunication common when surveying is farmed out to disjointed third parties.

Core Scope Capabilities:

  • Topographical surveys & terrain digital elevation models
  • Structural setting-out verification & layout alignment
  • As-built survey documentation & handover coordinates
  • GIS mapping & spatial land planning support
  • Change-of-land-use planning (agricultural to commercial)

Pillar 04 • Supply Chain Authority

Logistics & Clearing

Licensed Clearing Agent Last-Mile Delivery

Customs clearance (C&F), haulage coordination, last-mile site delivery.

Construction delays in Zambia often trace back to border customs holds or fragmented hauliers. As a Licensed Clearing Agent, Mate-World manages customs clearance (C&F) and haulage in direct alignment with project milestones.

Materials, plant machinery, and specialized assemblies move under a unified delivery plan directly from port of entry or regional supplier to our project site.

Core Scope Capabilities:

  • Licensed customs clearance (C&F) & border paperwork
  • Haulage logistics coordination across Zambian corridors
  • Last-mile site delivery & equipment placement
  • Site plant resourcing (mix of owned, controlled & hired plant)
